The address is 385 San Juan Ave, El Granada. Pleanty of room. Not sure if there is enough room for kids though Heather. Ouch! Cathy just smacked me in the head. There is plenty of room for everyone, kids included. We wanted a house up high enough to be above the fog(close) and to see the ocean. Mom it is very level in the front and back. Don't worry about the heights, unless you happen to fall off the back upper deck. Just put down the wine, and get off the railing and I am sure you will be okay. I am going to try to attach a picture or two, so bear with me.

Dave and Cath-

The place looks awesome! I google-mapped it and it looks like you have lots of forested land to the east. Is that National Forest? I like how the garage is in the back. You have an amazing fog observatory going on there. Good luck with the inspections.

Thinking of you,

P.S.

Is there another house between you and the corner, or is that an open lot? Or, would you own the property all the way to the corner? Just curious :)

Whoa so cool!! 2 of my friends and I are officially coming to San Fran in May - the 16th (Wed) or 17th (Thurs) through Monday 21st (Mon). We are hitting up Napa on Friday/Saturday and going to the Bay to Breakers race on Sunday (fun times I hear if you've never heard of it). Are you guys going to be around??

Looks like Kate knows when to hit the BLOG. Is it an under 30 nose that can sniff out a good time? Dave and Kathy, you can always say that you gave up Park Avenue for a better view! Looks awesome. Many congrats. Does UPS deliver? Don't get excited. Not pizza! If all goes well, when would closing be?
Am I getting ahead of myself here?

Closing would be by the end of the month. The big inspection is tomorrow at 10 a.m. So I should know more by tomorrow night. Heather, you can smell the surf. We are about 400-500 yards from the Beach, but up the hill. Depends, of course, on the breeze. Kate, we will be around. You guys can stay if you want. I know that sounds lame, San Fran is so much cooler. Check out the Pheonix Hotel. It is on the edge of the Tenderloin, but you and your friends will love it there. You again are welcome to stay, we are only about 30 minutes from Golden Gate Park. I will let everyone know about the inspections tomorrow.. Go YANKEES

Bay to Breakers is insane. And the "boys" dress up to the nines--well, maybe not so much as the opening of the new technicolor release of "Gone With the Wind" at the Castro theatre (back in the 90's). Now that was San Francisco at her finest. You should have seen the gowns.

Have fun!

Leggs there is no house on the corner. It is an empty lot that is to small to build on. So I am going to slowly but surly steal the lot, put in a Zombie graveyard to keep the kids away. I shit you not!!!!

I was only kidding about being afraid of heights. Guess I should have mrntion that before.

I still haven't been on Google Earth. Hope to soon.

Hey all. The inspections went well. We have a few things to hammer out with the owners. But if it all stays within reason, we will be in by May 4th. Good thing that we have the Studio(Photography), and the Museum. If not Cathy and I would have to buy three rooms full of furniture to fill the other rooms. What the frack are we thinking?
