Sounds like you are drooling for some Chex. And BTW the receipe on the box that claims to be the orginal is not. Whoever heard of bagel chips 50 yrs ago.
Mom's Chex Receipe
1 stick of margarine 1/4 lb.
melt in a large bowl in microwave (about 1 min)
Add 2 tbls worchestershire sauce
2 tsp Lawry's Seasoned Salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder- optional
Stir well
Add 4 heaping cups Rice Chex
4 Heaping cups Corn Chex
3 cups Wheat Chex
I use the largest bowl of the mixing set that Peggy gave me for Xmas years ago.Should just fill the bowl. Add a few more chex if not.
Mircowave on hi for 2 min, stir well, 2 more min ,stir well, 2min ,stir well.

Sorry. I forgot about the receipe. Senior Moment I guess.
Remember, it is difficult to keep them off the floor. So the dogs can enjoy them too. There is always at least one or two that crunch under foot.

So Peg and Michael, did you have chex??? I only didn't make them because I am the only one who eats them in our house and I believe I would eat the whole batch!!!! I'm scared to make them. Kind of like being scared to have one cigarette after you quit smoking.
I guess I'll stick to a handful at family functions for my fix.

We decided to make it a weekly "Idol Elimination Night" event. That way, when we eat them, we can "all be together". Maybe we can all eat Chex on Wednesdays during Idol and, if we think really hard, we can get rid of Sanjaya too! :)

So right before I signed on to read the blog I finished the left over Easter Chex that Grammy gave me. So, if anyone else was eating it tonight, it was like we were together!

You guys must be special. Mom is in my house, and I don't get chex except for family get togethers. We need more get togethers - I can't even say that I am on a chex withdraw problems. It is a deprived addiction.
Well, I caved and bought the stuff today - event the Wheat chex that I eat around.
oh man -who needs dinner when you have a fresh batch of chex! SOOOOO GOOOOD!!!!!
