Thursday morning about 11 three would be bank robbers attempted to rob the PNC bank on Rt 22 and just a short distance from County Line Rd. I heard about it on the radio and when my friends picked me up to play Bridge, I said to go the back way to Whitehouse which is where we were playing. We listened to the radio,heard an FBI agent was shot and two men were caught.One man still on the loose. We continued to play. Helicopters flying over head and watching out the sliders to see if anyone was running acrossed. Left about 4 PM. Went home the back way. Checked the house before my friends left . Locked the door. And called my friend who had been stopped and car was searched.
The man was caught the following morning by the Red Mill Motel on the corner.
I guess you can say ,"Nothing stops Mom's Bridge Group from carrying on."

Gram - you are supposed to tell the story with your car getting searched by 12 FBI agents with 12ft shotguns.
BTW - am I back in the will for calling and checking on you???
Remember - never answer the door for a man wearing only 1 shoe.
Maybe I need to get Gram a 12 ft shotgun. Or, perhaps a sexy derringer to tuck into her girdle.
We saw the story on CNN and I told Michael it wasn't far from Mom's house.
Course, then the FBI shot their own guy. I think we've been out-dorked (if that's possible!).
