Ummm, hello? Ahem? Is this thing on?
Hi family! I am not dead, but rather, alive and well :-) I have been going 90-to-nothing since i moved back home in october. I am working at a Neuro ICU/Intermediate stepdown unit and learning a lot. The hardcore ICU class starts in Feb, but I take 4-5 intermediate patients on my own after a 6-week psuedo-orientations. I look stupid a lot :-) And only one doctor has made me cry... but I hid it well and was not found out. I learned that no one will go to bat for you if taking responsibility for their own actions may cause consequence for them. They will throw you under the bus in a heartbeat. Not my kind of world, but the one in which we live :-/
So work is good. My little 2008 Toyota Yaris was running just fine until a sports car ran me over from behind on christmas eve. He was going about 50 and I, ony about 15, and he was looking out the window to the left. So, he threw me into the car in front of me but after I skidded a ways. I had two impacts but the worst part is that my coffee went everywhere. My sister Jamie (randy's daughter) was there in a heartbeat because mom was out of town and she walked me through the process of after-accident-bullshit. You always remember your first time, i guess :-) Or so I'm told!!!!!!!!
the last bit of news i have is that i am falling in love :-) hardcore. But dont tell him that because i dont want him to run for the hills! never felt this way about anyone and he... he... i don't know. he's just great. his name is ian. he's 26 and handsome as the day is long? Wanna see a picture? I thought I would take a poll. Anyway - that's all from me for now... life is good. I am on the right track and plan to keep moving in this direction... it's serving me well!
LOVE!
Cas

Hi Cass!
So great to hear you are doing well. You are so lucky that you didn't get hurt in your accident. Haven't I said before that we Wilburs keep the Guardian Angels working overtime?
And yes!!! Picture, please. Are you dating? Flirting? Tell, tell!
Let's see if we can give this blog a little CPR and get it going again.
Love you,

I rarely check the site anymore, but something made me tonight. I am glad to hear things are going well for you (other than the accident).
I owe you an email and I will do that soon!
Yes! Pictures please!!!
I signed on thinking that maybe Peggy posted something about Obamarama(or Obamastock as it's being referred to in these parts).
Lo and behold...is that Cassi a speakin?
Glad to here that you are OK. And in love....hmmm. Don't taunt us with 'do y'all wanna see pictures?'
What do you think? Where did you meet him? What's he do? Come on, tell, tell, tell.
Heather has apparently abandoned the Blog for Facebook. I'm not on Facebook. I'm afraid no one will want to be my friend. Cassi, I know you are on FB and have what, 7000 friends? :)
OK Peggy, you breath and I'll pump.
Hmmm, Facebook. When will I have time to check that out? I guess we have to go with the times, huh Deb? My favorite would be if Mom had her own Facebook page! I brag enough about her computer skills now!
Deb, I finally made a decision on the "Williams Sonoma" gift. We chose the Le Creuset teakettle in Flame. Check it out. It's beautiful, matches my dutch oven, and will make me think of you with each cup of tea. It got alot of great reviews, and the few that couldn't make it "work" were probably the retards that fill it all the way up and expect it to whistle and not make a mess!
Can't wait to get it from the UPS man. Thanks so much.
Idol is lame so far, huh? The only one I really like so far is the girl with the sick mom with short white hair that they did a special piece about. Really cute long haired black girl. Don't know her name.
Anyway, back to work on my Final for this module. One more to go!

Well, you can just forget Mom being on "Face Book".Someone mention that a 90 yr."lady" was on there.I won't even go there.
You'll just have to keep checking this Blog.
Glad about your teakettle in Flame!
Deb got me up todate about NM happenings before she left for ,"Where was that again?" Sure will be a great time with Nate and Cole.
You are almost done with your course! Great job.
L,
Mom
