The picture is dark, but its the only one I have on the computer so far. I have some more on my camera but havent gotten them to the web yet. Leave me alone... IM BUSY!! Anyway, I met Ian at a party I did NOT want to go to... I had on a Penn sweatshirt, my hair was greasy and pulled back and I had on no make up=not my A-game. But we were introduced and hit it off... he got my number... and the rest is history. He's been in Florida on vacation this week but I am picking him up from the airport tonight and I can't wait to see him :-) I work all weekend... so we won't get to see one another until his superbowl party... but you know what they say about absence! He's a really sweet guy and he makes me laugh a lot... tammy and brandon went out with us last saturday so they could meet him, and they liked him too. He's shy... which was a bit of a shock to Tammy. But I talk so much that I need a quieter guy so I can make sure I get all the time I need to be heard, right?!?! Anyway, things are going well. We're trying to take it slow... but... you know how that goes :-) He was born and raised in Missouri but his fam moved to Idaho a few years ago. he loves east texas though and hates the cold. he invited me to go with him to missouri to meet his sister and best friend in a few weeks for his birthday... which I'm looking forward too :-) for our first date, we ate really good mexican food and then went bowling... after he came to my house to meet my parents and pick me up. Randy's requirements. He wanted to put the fear of God in him :-) Not sure if he succeeded, but he tried and Ian got the point... i'm important and if you f**k up, you have a lot of people to answer to!
Im starting my ICU course on tuesday, which I am excited about, but I go back on orientation and can't go at my own pace anymore. Back in the "student" seat. I am not terribly excited about that... but we must jump through hoops to get where we want to be. such is life.
Hope all is well! More pictures to come!
Love,
Cas

Q-T-Pie! And meeting the parents? You go girl! You should have seen when I was dating in high school. We joked about getting whistles for all of my brothers. You think Randy is bad? I had four, count 'em, four brothers to get through.
I didn't get into the "bad boys" until my later years, however, but my brothers were still always there to protect me. Michael was a real bad boy when I met him, and a musician to boot. (You can leave your tall leather biker boots on, if you know what I mean!) I knew he was the one, though. He's the sweetest guy in the world to me, and he still brings me flowers each and every week. We've left our "bad boy" ways behind and are much happier now that we've made that decision.
But you have fun...and be careful with his mom. Let her know that you can cook AND bring home the bacon. Those midwestern Mamas bring up big, burly Mama's boys! I know she'll love you.
