I have seen it. Gene Simmons is a real pig, huh. Sweet to his family, but constant sex on the brain. The seaon starts with a face lift, right.

Yeah-Both he and his "wife" (common law in CA, right?) go under the knife at the same time. I like that his kids aren't spoiled brats like Ozzy's.

Hey Heather,
Are you talking about Gene Simmons or Peter? ;)

At this point - one and the same ;)

Fecking dorks!!!!! Watch Battlestar, Heros, or Masters of Horror. IDOL? What has happened to my hippie, groovey family?

Dave - first of all, wrong post. We are talking about Kiss - which if I remember right, was a favorite band of yours. Second of all, it is a proven fact that once people have kids they can no longer be cool.
Pictures???

I seem to remember a certain poster hanging on Dave's wall next to the "Death Before Disco" poster...hmm.

Cmn, D-Don't you wanna rock-n-roll all night, and party every day?

P.S. We don't have kids, so we can still be cool. I only watched to see what the hell everyone had their panties in a twist about. Besides, Michael won't let me watch it anymore...just kidding.

Just catching up on my blog reading....Peg, kudos for giving Idol a try...Does that mean I have to give Gene Simmons a try? AHHHH!
Kelly said she has seen a couple of episodes & they were very funny.

I'd think it would be funniest if you actually grew up with KISS, but if Kel thinks it's funny, then I guess culture really does recycle itself.

It really is pretty tasty TV.

Hey I an't watching the show, but KISS RULES!!!! I still love them, and the KISS Dressed to Kill poster was hanging next to my DEATH BEFORE DISCO. You heard me Abba,Bee Gee, and Donna Summer fans. DEATH BEFORE DISCO. Even at 8 years old I knew the deal. Now question? What was the first album(yes album) you bought by yourself? Mine was Lou Reeds Transformer. Thank the stars for Chuck Jankawitz(I know, spelled wrong I am sure). Come on Leggs. Which Barney Humpalow album was your first? Fecking DORK. lol.

If I seem to remember correctly, Lou Reed Transformer was my first album. Satellite of Love, NY Conversation, Perfect Day. That came way before any Humpalow albums. (And yes, thanks Chi). He also turned us on to the Talking Heads, remember?

I'm not a Donna Summer fan, you dee dee dee. I only said my favorite was the one who did the Donna Summer song. There were two, I guess. Shows how much I know about that.

Let's face it. We do come from a family with fabulous musical taste. Seeing that I have about four hundred more concerts under my belt than you, you have a lot of FECKING nerve. Maybe now that you are in the Bay Area, you'll get to see the Meat Puppets. They have a new album coming out in June and will probably be touring through that area. Oh, and don't miss Primus' Les Claypool's Frog Brigade if they come through, as well. They live in the Bay Area, so you might catch them.

Really, there is reality TV and then there is reality TV. If Kiss/Gene Simmons is anything like the Osbornes, forget it. I watched it three times(don't say I didn't give it a chance) and the jist seemed to be that those crazy dogs kept crapping and peeing all over the house. The father was so out of it he either didn't notice or his sense of smell was affected by the drugs he was doing. And the daughter changed her hair as much as Sunjaya. You couldn't (I couldn't anyway) follow the dialog because they had to bleep 65% of what they were saying.
My first album that I bought was the Beatles VERY first album, I Wanna Hold Your Hand. I, as opposed to the rest of you imitators, witnessed the real music revolution. I saw the Ed Sullivan Show that introduced the great Fab Four to the colonies. Gary saw it, too. It was past our bedtime. So I don't know what was bigger.
