So, the told 13 are pretty weak, but I love Phillip. I really can't stand most of the others Diandre and that awful up and down thing, the big guy with the awful low voice. And the girls are even worse.

I have to catch up this week after being gone for the top 10 guys and girls and ultimate top 13 results. At the moment I don't have a clear favorite. Don't want to stick anyone with my jinx so early. Like the idea of each judge getting a separate wild card pick.
Not that I'd hang it in my closet but that white dress that J-Lo had on guys night was HOT HOT HOT. Or she was! Love Peggy's new DO, too!!!!

Now I at least watched all the episodes that I missed. I like Philip Philips but I also like the rocker with the skinny jeans, Colton? I do like the one girl, Hollie. The one ST told to let her hair down. The rest, not so much.
So far,I'm not too impressed.

I love Stevie Wonder and was bummed that most of the guys chose to sing ballads. His older stuff is more fun and gritty.
The Whitney stuff was god awful, but I am not a fan.

Idol! My absolute favorite since auditions is Joshua "Mantasia" Ledet!! He's awesome! That boy can sing. Did you guys just forget about him, or you really don't like him? I like Phillip Phillips too, but Michael doesn't. Michael isn't a Dave Matthews fan either, so I can see why he just doesn't like his style. Michael calls him "Slipper Boy" because he was wearing a pair of house slippers when he met Mary J. Blige, lol!
I do like Hollie, but Jessica Sanchez really laid it out last night. That was pretty amazing for a tiny little girl who is so skinny she doesn't even have any boobs. Like NO boobs!
Totally agreed on the Stevie ballads vs. his older, more upbeat funky stuff. Like, "Ribbons in the Sky?" Why did Jeremy choose that song? Proving it is one thing, but if no one really knows the song, that's not going to help his cause.
I think Hey Jude and Elise or Shannon are on the block tonight. Shannon is SOOO horribly boring and awkward. And Elise looks way too weird to make it much further..NOT for me, but for America. Hey Jude might not get pulled by the judges because they like his voice so much. I don't know what I'm missing on that one. He also networks a LOT, so he gets the Asian vote and the people that don't really care but think he's funny. I think Shannon's going home ultimately.
You guys will probably know before us. We start at 7:00.

Didn't mention Joshua because I am not a fan. Still like Hollie and Colton. I felt sorry for Jeremy last night but he was going sooner or later. They could have sent Elise and that would have been fine by me too. He Jude (I like your name for him)is kinda quirky. I like him but not to win.

That was too bad about Jermaine (sp)but I really don't think they should have recorded and aired the 'end of the road' interview. Suffice it to say that he had some legal issues to address yada, yada yada. Shows how some people just can't crawl out of the hole they live in. Certainly life is not a level playing field. But that is another blog for another day.
Narrowing my faves down to Colton, Hollie and Philip. I loved Joshua last night and may become a believer. I felt sorry for the ones who changed up for the mentors and then got crushed by the judges for doing so.
BTW- I like Will I Am. But really love Willyum!

I always forget how much I love Billy Joel songs! I thought last night was really good. I didn't fast forward through most of the show like I have been doing the past weeks. But, I need to start taking notes during the show.... Of course, I loved Phillip Phillips, another favorite was Colton doing the Piano man and Elise with Vienna.
Still not into Josh... Holly was a flop. Jessica is boring to me, but she is good.
