Anyone watching this season? I think the judges are good. I'm actually enjoying the new twist more than I thought I would. Any favorites? I like Casey (sp), the guy that plays the stand up bass. I read he was hospitalized and needed a blood transfusion. I hope he makes it to the big stage.

Heather, Casey is my favorite, too! Too bad he looks kind of like a groundhog, but I guess that adds to his eclecticism. He really is talented. I also like the guy with Turrets. Michael and I are watching the girls tonight, and then the guys maybe tomorrow. He had to work 'til eleven last night, so I tivo'd it.
I think Steven Tyler is so funny. I've always loved him. Classic rock-n-roll icon.
So I have watched most of the results. Looks like the top 10 is good. I'm glad they got rid of a lot of the cheese. My other favorite guy is the one that did Rod Stewart. None of the girls are original....boring really. I liked Ni-ima (sp). At least she seemed like she had something different to bring. Oh well, I doubt she'll make the cut.

Yeah...AI marathon tonight. I think it is really a talent filled group and there is certainly none that I dislike. No clear standout for me yet. If I picked one they'd go home next week.
I still think there is a lot of talent. Even Casey was great on Wed nite.And now he is back in the hospital again.

So how did everyone like this week? I thought it was kind of boring...as most of the show has been for me. I'm glad the hispanic girl went home (Karen???). I thought she was terrible. Casey and Paul are my favorites and I like Naima's style. She is kind of like a Lauren Hill type. They love Pia, but I think she is a bore. Scotty is not my type of musician at all, but I think he'll actually do well outside of idol doing his country thing.
I like Paul alot but clearly he won't win. I actually like almost everyone this year...no one I'd say "Oh God, get rid of him/her. Well, maybe Haley. I think at this point it will be more of an 'it' factor! I think James will be in the finale. But unless Haley wins, at least I won't be threatening to boycot AI. I emailed one of my friends who watches and referred to AI and she thought I typed AL so she keeps referring to American Idol as AL now. I have to break it to her easy.
Really enjoying Steve Tyler and JLo. Never was keen on Randy and now he has to play the heavy. I miss Simon sometimes. I wonder how X-Factor will do. Coming in Sept I think.

How are they ever going to narrow this down? For me..Haley can go but the rest are all contenders. Loved, loved, loved James tonight! But really..they are all great.

Last night was awesome! Loved Stevie Wonder...Loved Steven Tyler's birthday song...Loved the look on James' face when Hulk Hogan came through the curtain...Loved the whole Casey drama (He, James, and Jacob are my faves). Casey got good advice, and I hope he takes it because he is super talented. I am sooooooooo glad that he didn't throw up when the judges saved him. Does he have a medical condition? Why does he keep ending up in the hospital? I hope he can take it, and maybe they'll give him a makeover after this week. Remember how bad David Cook looked until the "post-Hello" makeover?
Haley can go, and I just don't get Pia. She's a cold salami. Jacob is just outstanding, and Paul has a quirky voice that I like, but he has to step it up because it looks like the "bottom three" are not fixed positions. I'm actually sending you guys an email about something else, so I will close for now.

Hi All - I didn't get to watch the whole show, but I saw the last 10 minutes or so. First of all, I couldn't believe the bottom three. I will have to start voting again. As soon as they said Casey was the one in that may go home, I knew they would keep him. But, I never expected him to react the way he did. It was great. Made me like him even more.
I agree with Peg. Pia is a bore. The only girl I like is Naima. And when I said I liked her style, I didn't mean how she dresses. LOL. I think she is funky and I like that about her. She knows who she is, and I don't think any of the other girls do.
Good stuff... on to next week.
And I forgot... I loved Jacob this week. I hadn't really been a fan, but he delivered this week. BIG TIME
...hey, someone who is not trying to fit this into time between customers at work...start a new Idol post. Wasn't Idol Tues and Wed last year? Waiting til Wed is making me crazy LOL. since I like this year so much more than I thought was possible. I was a big Simon fan but am not really missing him. My picks are Paul, Jacob, Casey and #1 James. I don't think he fits the title American Idol but I do like Scotty and think that a Country Label will pick him up and he'll go far.
I thought Casey was going to lose his lunch right on stage. But think it is very smart that they used the save now.
OMG....how will they ever pick? I have never liked Haley but she rocked last night. Thia is my current throw away. Then maybe Stefano. Still loving James, Paul and Casey. Hope noone passes out tonight!
Well, the elimination wasn't much of a surprise. I will miss Niama, but I knew she was going soon. I am glad Paul made it through. He is one of my favorites. Next up to go.. Haley, Stefano or Pia.
