Who's Next?
I'm betting on Casey. I like his style, but he is very one-dimensional. I really wish Aaron would go though. He actually sucks way worse than Casey. Come to think of it, I'm changing my bet to Aaron. Home go Aaron!
I guess I'm cheating by blogging and watching...It has to be between Casey and Aaron . Just saw Casey and that performance rocked though. Judges liked it, so maybe Aaron. Chrystal and Lee are still my picks though. I'm hedging my bets this year. Not committing.
Loved Lee...Loved Casey...Crystal was the only one that sounded even slightly country though. She gets points for that, even though it is tough to beat the bar that she set for herself.
I don't think Aaron is going to make it through. I'm thinking it is his time to go home.
I only voted for Crystal tonite because this is the first time she may need it.
I feel asleep during Crystal's performance. How does that happen? Very easily!She is hard on the eyes. How about Big Mike going home! I'm tired of him too. Lee was good . Think I'll just eat my Chex and relax Like it doesn't matter.
Hmm, I guess dreadlocks are an "acquired taste." Wish she wouldn't wear skirts above the knee, though. She has knees like me which, of course, is why I wear pants. :)
Michael called from Winslow, Arizona (what a fine place to be). They had to turn back around and go back to Flagstaff, and then north and east to Taos, because 1-40 is closed until at least 7 PM tonite due to a dust storm! He was supposed to be home at 3 PM or so, but now it will probably be more like 11. He said there were miles of cars pulled over on the highway.
Oh, BTW. I quit smoking. Thought I'd wait a while to say anything. Almost a month now.
PEG!!! I only wear pants or skirts below the knee. I hate my knees too!!! I guess those genetics come from the Wilbur side. Going to watch the last 10 minutes of Idol. Casey, Mike and Sioban.....who will it be?

I used nicoderm about 11 years ago and surprised myself that I actually did it. The night I quit, Don kept asking me why I needed to go to the drug store. I hadn't told him I was planning on quitting incase I changed my mind. He kept bugging me and bugging me about stopping at Rite Aid on the way home from dinner. Finally I told him I needed to get a pregnancy test. Shut him right up! Anyway...keep it up. You won't be sorry. You amaze me, P. Hope Michael gets home soon.

Not sad at all to see Siobhan go. She'll probably end up on Broadway.
Michael got home at 2AM. Said the trip was zero percent visibility the whole way. They were up on the mountain passes, right in the middle of the storm, but because they ended up crossing over Indian land, no roads were closed up north. He said it looked like the apocalypse. Sky was fire red, and he said you couldn't tell if it was day or night--and 65 mph winds. So glad he is home safe.
Mom, you have gotten rid of all of your skirts and dresses? Good for you! I knew I was on to something. Like I always say, I don't wear anything I can't run in :)
Last night was as painful to me as Country night was to Heather. I only liked Lee. I am not a huge HC Jr fan and I never really did appreciate Sinatra. I don't think that the contestants should be subjected to picking songs from such strong genre and then be criticized for not making it 'young and contemporary'. So I think it is good by Casey tonight.
Based on Tuesday, Casey should have left; but, overall, I much prefer Casey to Aaron. Bye Aaron!!!

I agree with you ,Peg about HC Jr. I think that Adam L.was a good mentor.We fast forwarded through Lady GaGa.OMG. Casey has to go next week. Then who will it be ? Should get interesting.
I LOVE Harry Conick. But I agree that the show wasn't great. None of them let loose like they should have for that type of music (except Lee).
I was thrilled to find out it was Aaron that left. Was Casey in the bottom? Our DVR wasn't working. I do think America has been good about voting the right people off this year though.
Fot the first time in history I fastforwarded to the end to see Aaron go home. He was standing with Big Mike but don't know where Casey was in the standings. Lee has come so far and I don't think it matters if Crystal wins she has a great future without the title. Maybe better....I'm still lee/crystal. Don't think Mike can fill a large venue. He has the same type of appeal the Taylor Hicks did.
Big Mike was in the bottom two. They didn't let on to how the others fell in line, except that they let Lee know he was safe right off the bat. It was actually scary to see Crystal with Casey as the possible bottom two, because I thought for sure Casey would not do too well this week. I think people let him slide because he was obviously out of his element and couldn't play his guitar.
Big Mike is the "vote for the worst" guy now. Don't know if that is why he is still there. I think he is next. I like Crystal's "sweet love songs," but I think she has to bring it big time now. Lee is in the zone.

Country week was torture. I can't even watch Aaron at this point.Thank god for DVR and fast forward. I only really watched Crystal and Lee.
