OK, we are almost caught up on our Idol Tivo's! We like Crystal a lot, and the Indie girl with the blonde hair. For the guys we like Big Mike, Casey, and Lee (Lee is my favorite). But Crystal just rocks. I'm glad they bleached her teeth :)

I like Crystal too, gotta route for the girl with dread locks;). I actually like the same people that you guys like. We are routing for Katie Stevens though. She is the local girl. Was in Peter's SAT class this past fall and the boys actually saw her sing this past summer at their school. She is not my favorite singer, but it is kind of exciting to have a local there.
Well, well, well..we actually like the same contestants. However, it is not good luck for them for me to 'like' them. My choices always lose!Did I choose the right David? Nooooo. And Adam looked like a shoe in. So I will do Crystal and Lee, my two favorites, the kindness of not outwardly promoting them!

Check out Crystal's original 'Farmer's Daughter' on UTube. I'm really liking this girl. The 'stories' this year seem more heartwrenching. Or warm and fuzzy (Big Mike)I'm trying to resist Chex. BTW-did try Me-Me's elbows and stewed tomatos with out cooking the pasta first. Just fine! Yum!

I'm looking for Crystal to knock it out of the park tonite. That "Paint it Black" really did beat her's last week. She seems sick or something. Michael and I are betting on smack withdrawal; they probably put her on a methadone program or something. Just seems like the type, that look in her eye, the Janis Joplin in her.

Michael thinks Tim might be the worst contestant ever!
I think I heard that she has Type 1diabetes and I would guess that if that is the case then her insulin levels are messed up as a result of the type of schedule she is keeping. I really do like her and hope that she can keep up physically. Still like 'the kids', too. Not as crazy about Sioban and Tim, ugh! Big Mike is a sweet guy but too much like Rudin from Season 2 or 3.
I also like Crystal.

Well, you guessed it right, Mom. Too bad, because I think she deserved to go on tour way more than Tim (the slide guy!), glasses guy (Andy), or Didi Duh Duh. Paige just lost her voice. I think the judges should have at least listened to her going out, because she sounded pretty good.
Oh, diabetes. Well, not as dramatic as smack withdrawal (heroin, Mom), but it makes sense. Hope she can hold up.
Oh, and ha ha, about the elbows--I use crushed, skinless tomatoes! I guess we never thought to write down the recipe because we figured it was so easy. :)

Oh, I like Didi. I like her quirky voice.
But yeah, Crystal is the best. I mean c'mon.....Me and Bobbie McGee. The girl knows good music. I am actually surprised at how much they like her.
What else is new with everyone? My big news... I am taking a class to be a Personal Trainer and I am running a 1/2 marathon on April 17th. I ran 11.4 miles this past sunday. I never thought that I would ever be able to say that.
Wow, Heather! That is awesome! When I had a PT in San Francisco, I was in the best shape of my life. Good Luck with that!

I like Crystal but thought Lee was great last night. Mike was good too but to me he is another Rubin Stoddard...no staying power. Just doesn't have it for the big stage, IMHO. I'm still missing Adam. Tim...WTF? I think DiDi is going down but it should be Tim.
My two faves, Crystal and Lee. Both were great last night. DiDi Duh Duh sucked again, but not as badly as Tim. The WTF is that he is the "vote for the worst" guy, and has been for weeks, so all of those people vote for him. I don't know if he'll get by on that this week though. He just sucks so bad!!! (ly). :) DiDi might get sympathy votes. I thought Katie was pretty lame too (sorry Heather). C'mon Mom...no one you like? Did you buy Danny's album (ha-ha)?

No, I am totally with you guys on the Crystal and Lee thing. And I know Katie is lame. The singing has been pretty bad and her personality is annoying AND a big WTF to her wardrobe. It is just pretty cool to have a local girl on it. Local places have big signs up and they have a big viewing and voting party every week at the fire station. It is just kind of fun.
...and how in the world is she going to find a CW song in the McCartney-Lennon collection? Sooner or later she will need to listen to Simon. Having a local favorite is fun, especially in a small town like Woodbury. I had forgotten about the Vote for the Worst site. Remember the year of Sanjaya (sp)? And I didn't ever like DiDi (duh duh :)
I'll look forward to the song choices next week.
Well, there is "Falling" (yes, I am fallin', and she keeps callin', me back again.) Maybe Rocky Raccoon!!! That I'd love to see. As long as nobody but maybe Crystal does "Let it Be," I think Michael (my Michael) will survive.

Mom..I hear ya. I was reaching for the phone to vote for Archuletta, too! His Imagine was even better last night than when I first heard it. I can only think that no one liked Big Mike's rendition of Elenor Rigby. I wasn't a fan. Tim, even tho improving is still weak. Two go next week. Katie seems in it for the long haul at this point. I still think Crystal is going to take it. Unless she gives it away. Doesn't seem likely.
Big Mike almost got voted off because he is black. Have you noticed that all the black people are gone? So weird. It has been like that since the final 24. I am probably just full of crap, but I do think it is weird.

OMG, Michael said the same thing. He said that Big Mike will never get it because he is the only black one left and black people don't watch Idol. With all of the guest entertainment, you would figure that black people DO watch Idol. Or, maybe they are trying to market that dance pop/rap to white people!
I knew they were going to save Big Mike. Michael is evil... He's got all these people voting for Tim.
My WTF this week was Lee. "Hey Jude?" And coaxing the audience to sing along? And the gimmicky bagpipe player? I think he is giving it away, and knows Andrew is going soon.
Hey Heath- Yeah, I take 2000 iU of Vit D3 a day. I started a supplement program, and it made me worse! I have been really sick the last week or so. In bed. Sorry all, that's why I haven't been in touch. I'm OK now though. Having more thyroid blood work done on Monday.
Anyway, I think Aaron is up for grabs, and Andrew is skating for some reason. They would be my bottom two at this point.

!!!! I just let Michael read the Idol posts, and he was looking at the one where I asked if Mom liked the show with Diddy and Usher. He said to tell Mom that it is not DiDi, it is Diddy! Ha-ha, he thought Mom spelled Diddy wrong instead of referring to DiDi. (Diddy was the second guy that told everyone to turn up their TVs, Mom.)
Can you believe he has all of these people voting for Tim? I never should have showed him the "Vote for the Worst" site!
