Hi All-
Just checking in to say all is well here. Plugging away on my studies, which is fine because it's just too hot to stay outside for long. Yuck. Michael's Mom, Harvey, and niece Danica are coming for a visit next week. Oy vey. We are going to take Danica down the river for her first time--Class III rapids :). It's too late to do the Taos Box (Class IV), but she's only 10 years old, so the RaceCourse should be fine for her. Other than that, all is about the same. How is Jessica doing? She should be, what, 7 months or so now? I can't imagine being pregnant, much less in this heat!
Anyway, just saying hi because it looks like the blog has been quiet. I can't wait to watch the gymnastics, but the whole China thing is really weird, huh? I guess they think they are fooling us with their facade. Well, I'll watch the gymnastics and try to ignore the setting. We've got a great women's team this time around.

Yes, it has been too quiet here. I miss everyone! All is well with us. We have been doing many roadtrips the last month. Vermont, PA, and Asbury, and down to J&J's this weekend.
I am still running and hoping to do a half marathon in Oct. I'm at about 7 miles now. Did you know that katie did one a couple weeks ago?
I am also working with Pete a few hours a week. don't let him know, but I kinda enjoy it.
Pete and Nate are at a Mets game tonight and hopefully they win this time. I just heard someone hit a three run homer in the 6th or 7th, so that is good news.

Are you planning on going to Tammy's wedding in the spring. Pete and I talked about a quick trip out there and than hopping a flight to good ol' NM.

Well, and my kids accuse me of not telling them things. It must be a sign of old age. We just don't know who we tell what! When Danny and company were here (NJ) for Cassi's graduation they were looking for a hall (Tammy & Brandon) Apparently they had gotten engaged around Christmas. If I am not mistaken they are getting married mid April 2009. Cassi will probably have a better idea of the exact date. Doesn't my brother(s) e-mail you either????
They must have gotten broken fingers playing baseball.
Jessica is scheduled for a C-section on September 26th. It's a girl-Kira. Did anyone tell you THAT? Just checking.
We've been busy this summer with the motor home being on the road for several jaunts. We've been 'practicing' with the boys so that they will be old hats when we take them to DisneyWorld in January. They seem to like 'camping'. Love to Michael. Have a good visit and keep in touch.
No, I didn't know about Kira either! Hrummmph! And here I thought I was so good about keeping in touch! Just kidding.

It will be fun to pick out dolls for a change. But let me tell you how much fun my little boys are. They keep me in stitches. They say and do the funniest things.
Seriously, sometimes it seems like I say the same things over and over and think I'm repeating myself. There ALWAYS seems to be someone who didn't get the memo! We need a checklist. Or you need to get off the mesa more often.
