rain and rainbows

Hi All,

Just checking in. This is what the rain looked like coming across the mesa the other day. I hope you can see the hint of a double rainbow in the second one. Just cuz' I'm not posting as much as before I went back to the hellzone, oh, I mean work, doesn't mean you guys can drop the ball and not keep the blog going!

Love you,
Peg

The weather has just been so beautiful (sometimes hot but that doesn't bother me) that I spend all my free time outside. Work has been frantic at times because of budget time so some of my main blogging opportunities are being sorely curtailed.
So...back to the grind huh? Are there aspects of the job you like (besides getting a paycheck?) For instance, my job is NOT exciting but no nights and no weekends. All those years at the bank, yeah 9-3 sure! And when I worked at MBNA they had the weirdest schedules. Work 4 hours, go home for 4 hours, come back and work for 4 more hours. I like most of the people I work with, dislike enough for some good gossip material and get a eaise every year like clockwork. And the deal maker, a pension AND lifetime medical for employee and spouse. I'm not going to set the world on fire but will settle for the warmth of a tealight!
Don will probably be going to AZ again this winter. What I am hoping to do is fly out and drive back with him sometime in March. Peg, I'm trying to figure out whether flying into Albequerque(sp)
and meeting Don in NM would work. We could spend a few days with you and Michael before heading back. Still in the planning stages because my coworker that I back up will be out on maternity leave from Jan-March.
We're going to Chincoteague, VA this weekend in the motorhome. We have Gracie with us for her first tryout of camping. She is in charge of the s'mores.

I hope your weekend with Marcia
and Harvey went well. It has been a while since they were there.
Hope you found the napkin rings.
The happenings here are pretty mundane .But I do enjoy hearing
about what is happening in everyone else's world.
Do Love the Pictures!
