Just a little life update...Jen and I found an apartment today! She is very nervous because she hasn't yet adjusted to the fact that NYC apartments aren't exactly spacious. However, as she will tell you she can see the Empire State Building from her bed. Here is a snapshot of our view:
In other news, it is out company's Annual Community Service Day on Thursday. We are painting and refurbishing 2 schools, a Sr Center, and a park up in the Bronx. It is pretty much my favorite day of the year. My friend and I got picked to be the captains for the hardest and most detailed mural and we are very excited about that. As the "numbers girl" at the company it will be funny to be telling the people in our creative department what to do. I will be sure to post photos of that day.
Anyway, hope to see you all this weekend! Though, I will warn you in advance, that my graduation party will kick jen's graduation partys butt. Luckily mom put me in charge of the booze, so at least we have that going for us :)

Looking forward to doing a compare and contrast between the 2 grad parties. Unfortunately, now that we are strapped with "the boy" we likely won't be around for the Hot Tub portion of the show.
Jess and I are looking forward to finally meeting Brett, we thought he was like "my girlfriend from Niagra falls" (a sad figment of Jenny's imagination). After a couple of Margaritas, he might be a figment of my imagination too....
Jen, did your sister drag you all over NYC with that bad foot? How's it feeling? Nice view!! Tell us more about these digs. We can't get much info from D&C about theirs.

Kate's right, I haven't exactly ajusted to the fact that apartments that are considered "big" in Manhattan are about the size of my walk in closet at home. It's a scam. But the view from my bedroom is amazing so I'm going to try to get used the lack of space.
I'm sad to say that Katie's party will pobably be better than mine. I have a giant cast and crutches right now b/c of the foot surgery so I'm not all that fun.
Brett won't be at the party. I explained this in another post but incase you are just reading this one he had his last day of work on Wednesday and then drove home to Minnesota to see his family yesterday. His brother could only get off work this weekend so Brett wouldn't have been able to see him if he stayed for the party.
Aunt Deb, my foot is doing ok. It hurts quite a bit but the it'll be worth it when its all over. Kate didn't really drag me all over the city. She was actually great about finding a place. She went with the realtor to see a bunch of places and then just had me go to her favorite place which we ended up deciding to take. Dad drove me into the city so I didn't have to walk around all that much but even having to just stay standing in the building for about 2 hours was exhausting. It could have been much worse.

Oh my god, you even hired a fake guy to take pictures for your grandmother at graduation? How far are you going to take this sick obsession with a fantasy boyfriend....
We all know Grams' eyes are pretty bad. Remeber she had cateracts. I bet Jen had Kelly dress up like a guy and pretend to be "Brett". I am sure Kelly did a great job and had her fooled. But, I bet none of the pictures include both Brett and Kelly.
