I am getting around to this a little late. Notice the beauty of the Empire State building awash in blue and orange. I was at two of three subway series games this weekend at Shea. The first night, where the Mets taught the Yankees a lesson about how to play aggressive baseball. And then the third night, where the Yankees showed the Mets how to hit a high fastball. Frankly, I am glad the series is over for now. It will take a long time to rid the stadium of negative yankee fan energy. Although it was fun to see the worried looks on Yankee fans faces as they saw their beloved team drop to 10.5 out in the division. But alas, these are the Yankees and they look to be surging again just at the right time with the Sox in town. In addition, I thought it was about time somebody posted on something other than idol. I have to say, there has been very little yankee chatter since the beginning of that sox yanks series up in boston....wonder why:)?!?!

I just looked at the list of my posts and did not see any subjects containing "Idol"...sunsets, Mother's Day, quickchange artists, Meat Puppets, MC Rove...no Idol. So there. :)
Your picture of the Empire State Building is really great. I like the "leaning tower of Pisa" angle. It looks like Dave and Cath tried to post a picture, too, but I don't see it anywhere. Wonder what the problem is.
I talked to Dave the other day and it sounds like they are settling right in and already planning on some renovations on the house. I hope he posts some pix soon. You'll probably stir up some Yankee chatter with this post, Pete.

I found the "Yankees Rule" blog. First, a newsletter post from Cassie, who says that she just doesn't want to blog and then Dave's new blog. Just can't keep the chicks in the nest.
We have a new nestful of baby fly-catchers on the portal (third year in a row). Mama and Papa are feeding them and protecting them against the wicked Spring winds. We love watching them learn how to fly. I WILL send pictures.

I tried to post that profile here the other night. Not sure how I made a new profile. Hey I was high, so give me a break. Have you ever seen the Pacific that calm? Almost eerie. And no matter what you all say, and I say, the Yankees rule!!!! They may be all old and injured, but when they are kicking ass during the summer, look out. And Pete, the Empire State Building in Royal Blue and Orange? Now that is GAY!!!!! Royal blue and Orange, oh yeah, they are from QUEENS!!!! Love you fucker.
P.S And just remember Pete, no matter what happens, no Yankee has ever had a press conference to claim they don't poke the Brown Eye. And now he plays for OAKLAND!! What a pillow biter.
