Jordin-Blake-Blake-Jordin???
So, Idol watchers...who will it be? I think Jordin blew it out of the box with that last song. And I love her rendition of "With a Broken Wing". Blake went further than I thought he would have gone when the season started. I was sure that the guys would go down 1-2-3 and the competition would be all women. But what do I know? I have a tin ear and liked Constantine. BTW-how about Elliott Yamin's DaVinci Porcelain Veneers? So put it on the line now. I bet a batch of Chex on Jordin.

Even though we hate Jordin's fake-crying and drama queen antics, Blake can't sing. How many times did he have to go flat on his "big note" during the second song to prove that?
Michael is counting the hours until it's over so he never has to think about it again. His vote...two way tie for last...:)

I can't wait for this season to be over. But, I am excited to see their version of battle of the bands. I have been looking for this type of thing since idol started. But, of course, the producers of idol will find a way to make the bands cheesy and predictable. Ehh, we'll see.

Don't kid yourself. Come January when Idol starts up again, and the cold winter winds blow across the mesa, you will be curled up on the couch with a warm bowl of chex, a fire in the hearth, and the warm glow from Simon Cowell's bare chest.

There is just enough time between seasons so that you forget some of the antics and conspiracies(right wing?)of network TV. Then they start with the auditions which Peggy & Michael have yet to experience. You have not lived until......Yes, you are both hooked. Even Don ventures into the room at the eleventh hour to'peek'. When does the band search begin?

How funny would that be. I can just see Michael approaching his bandmates "Well guys, Peggy's crazy family got me watching Amercan Idol, and now...., I think we could win it!"
Yo yo yo, check it out dogs, I have peggy putting valium & tums in my chex to keep this american idle. Thats how she shuts me up, jason,turning me into a baked couchpotato. Deb, I'll bet don peeks in on the eleventh hour to make sure you're not beat-boxing with your ponyhawk. Heather & pete, you guys already know it will be the battle of the blands. My new band, " Paula's Chihuahua & the Vodkatones" will perform a tearjerking ( or nosebreaking ) cover of " Help me I think i'm falling ". Well I better get posting. The boss is giving me the old raised eyebrow!

Can you believe this...I didn't know who won until this AM and I had to read it in the paper!!! I had Tivo'd it (on two channels mind you)and since the show went over I didn't see the last 10+ minutes. Since I didn't start watching until 10:00 it was about 11:30 before I knew I didn't have the end. It was too late to call anyone and Peggy and Michael would not have seen the end yet. I was PISSED. I even watched the stupid auditions. I had hours invested in AI and I missed the end. I didn't even know who to blame. OK, OK , let's blame network TV who probably is getting back at Tivo and DVR users! A republican right wing conspiracy. But I am glad Jordin won. I hope she has as much success as Blake will. Has anyone signed him yet?
So Michael, are you having Peggy prepare your band tape? Now that would be the BOMB! We could do a rendition of Family Vacation and gather to cheer you into the finals. Nate could rock out to Uncle Michael and the Tumbleweeds.
Deb, that blows! We actually thought of the fact that you may have Tivo'd it and missed the end! We had something else recording at 9:00 and it switched over to that channel right before the end. CNN happened to be doing a "breaking news" story about that soldier they found in the river, and at first we thought they were breaking into Idol! As we were discussing the "Heidi Game" (don't know if anyone remembers that), we realized what had happened and switched it back just in time.
What a couple of dorks!

Yes, I do remember the Heidi game. But were you even born yet? I have the video clip on AmericanIdol.com of the end so all was not lost. But can you believe that I actuelly MISSED it? Arggggg!
I do know how to spell actually, just didn't proofread!
