DOWN TO THREE
Ok , another Idol night looms before us. What will we find to replace Idol Blog? Anyone need to run to the store for Chex makings? I'm really on the fence with Jordin and Melinda. I would feel sorry for whoever doesn't win. Will Blake shock us?
Looking forward to tonight! Do you know what the theme is? Hopefully they get to pick. Although, in the past I think the final three did judges choice and also a pick of their own.
I think Melinda should win! Does anyone else think Jordin must be 6 feet tall? She towers over everyone.
Michael just got home so we'll watch Idol on the Tivo. I took a chance and looked on the blog, hoping no one gave it away as to who was voted off. I'm getting off now, just in case! Chex are on the table :)
And yes, Jordin is huge! I think it's funny how they always put her on the end so she doesn't stick out as much.
Peggy thinks every night is idol night, we should invest in general mills.I think jordan goes tonite,although she has great moves( slightly more than a corpse ) Besides without bbbbabahblablablublupblake the irratation entertainment factor would be gone and they might as well just call the winner melinda.After this post i will be contacting my therapist.
Those nice young men in their clean white suits just came to take Michael away...
Now he won't get to see who got voted off! (Glad he has no opinion about the show.) I can't go away and leave him alone with the computer for even a minute. Ha-Ha...I actually agree with him about Jordin AND Blake. :)
Peg- Demographics... DEMO-GRAPHICS... They split the African American Vote and besides, they are looking for a Pop Idol. Blake will sell more records and Tiger Beat magazines than Shrek Head Melinda. Also, we all know what happens when you put the choice in America's hands... 8 years of Bush II should be enough to remind you.
My jaw is still on the floor. Especially when I tried for over 30 minutes to get through to vote for Melinda and the phone lines were busy, busy, busy. I had been able to get through to Jordin's #s. Multiple times. I'm not sorry about Jordin, just don't think Blake belongs in the top two.
Yeah, we noticed that the average age of the Blake fans they showed was about seven. Weird because Blake isn't even cute...he's kind of creepy. Did anyone else notice Ryan had to actually pull Blake back by the collar to keep him from running back out onto center stage when Melinda was singing?
Jay, demos would make sense if a) only African-Americans were voting for the two and b) Jordin was actually an African-American, not a double-stuff. She's about as Black as a cross between Obama and Bryant Gumble at a lacrosse match.
And, no, we're not racist. Just callin' 'em as they is.
I always felt that Blake would win this thing. I know it sounds like Monday morning quarterbacking. The AI viewer is tired of crooners and wants to hear something different. Well, this is what you have. Blake=marketable! The biggest voting population on this show are teenage girls and gay men. Guess who Blake appeals to most. Melinda or Shrek Head:) is a real talent, however, she is popular with those above 45....sorry guys. She is already polished and is a star. The point of this show is to find and develop a star. The viewer took for granted that Melinda was going to be perfect, and she was. P
PS: I feel so lame that I put that much thought into Idol - I can't wait for this show to end so that I can't get my brain back.

You are totally right about Blake. At this point, it's about marketing, not talent.
